THE AWARDS

AWARD-WINNING WINES

Our wines have received several awards and have been included in the most renowned wine guides: achievements we are proud of and want to share: if you want to discover them all, click here.

But it is not in our nature to settle for simply reaching a milestone, and we are passionate about overcoming new challenges: that’s why in recent years we have focused all our energy on continuously improving the quality of our wines, refining our cultivation and selection techniques and investin i in the complete conversion of our land to organic farming.

Because, in addition to the DOCG status of our Pignoletto, Organic is a further guarantee of the product’s healthiness and quality, which we have also extended to the production of Rosso Bologna and our historic Baraldesco Rosso Reserve.

OUR VINEYARDS

Our Grechetto Gentile, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes have been cultivated for centuries on our lands in the hills of the Samoggia Valley. We personally select the finest grapes and monitor every stage of the production process: this also means we want to be sure of the quality of our wines.

OUR CELLAR

The beating heart of our business, where our wines mature in our cellar at controlled temperatures between 10 and 11 degrees Celsius. This is the place where we meet our customers and where you can purchase our wines directly, besides the only other our point of sale at the Valservice Restaurant.

Le stanze di Bacco (BACCHUS' ROOMS)

In 2013 we inaugurated our farmhouse, Le Stanze di Bacco, where we offer four rooms and two mini-apartments to welcome our guests. It is located in Monteveglio, 2 kms. from the Monteveglio Abbey Regional Park and 23 kms. from Bologna city centre. Surrounded by greenery, it is the perfect place to enjoy the enchanting panorama of the Bologna Hills, discover the riches of our territory and, why not, even sip a glass of Pignoletto in the shade of our vineyards.
